Install the extension in VS Code
Remote - SSH (by Microsoft)
Add a host
ssh maker@mc-pi.local

Pro tips

  • Works best with 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS on a Pi 4 or 5.
  • Set up SSH keys so you never type a password.
