The built-in configuration menu: enable I2C, SPI, serial, SSH and the camera, set boot options, locale and more.

What you use it for

  • Enable hardware interfaces
  • Change hostname and password
  • Boot to desktop or console, expand storage

Commands

Open the menu
sudo raspi-config
Enable I2C without the menu (0 = on)
sudo raspi-config nonint do_i2c 0
Enable SPI without the menu
sudo raspi-config nonint do_spi 0

Pro tips

  • The nonint commands are perfect for setup scripts.
  • Reboot after changing interfaces.
